Mariel S. Mulet serves Puente’s clients from a variety of industries concerning all areas of HR and employment law. Earning her master’s degree from the University of Southern California and her law degree from the National University of Rosario in Argentina, Ms. Mulet
was admitted to the California Bar in 2000. Her expertise comes from a vast range of international and professional experiences, including practicing law in Argentina with a particular emphasis on intellectual property law and commercial law, publishing articles regarding international law at an Argentinean research center, and lecturing at the university level. While in

Argentina, Ms. Mulet has authored and presented an article on trademarks before the American Bar Association conference in Buenos Aires.
Ms. Mulet is a former litigator at Russakow Ryan & Johnson in Pasadena and Epstein Becker & Green in Los Angeles where she represented clients in cases involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful terminations in violation of public policy. She conducted numerous investigatory interviews with clients and their employees into allegations of discrimination and harassment. Ms. Mulet has trained line employees and management in these areas in both English and Spanish. She is also experienced at restructuring business practices into compliance with wage and hour laws.
Because of her commitment to community service, Ms. Mulet is a strong supporter of and contributes with pro-bono work to Heart Of Los Angeles (HOLA) Youth, an organization which provides after school care and education for inner-city children and teenagers in Los Angeles.
Ms. Mulet currently resides in San Marino, California with her husband and three children.
